Free Meals are Still Available at the Same Locations and Times
While the City is dealing with the unfortunate reality of closing our public schools starting tomorrow due to rising COVID-19 rates, we remain firmly committed to providing food to New Yorkers in need.
Even when DOE schools are closed, free meals are still available at the same locations and times!
All 1,100+ DOE schools that have been open for children learning in person or remotely will still be distributing meals from 9AM - 12PM daily.
All 260+ DOE schools that have been community hubs for all, including those serving kosher and expanded halal options, will still be distributing meals from 3PM - 5PM daily.
